Street Racing Results to Crash; Kills Child

A 6-year-old girl was recently killed in a vehicular crash apparently caused by the street car racing of two vehicles.

Lisa Xavier and her mother were reportedly on a vehicle when one of the two racing cars hit them. The mother remains hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries while young Lisa died a day after the hit-and-run accident.

Initial investigations show that the vehicle that hit Xavier’s car was running a red light. After the crash, he got out of the vehicle and rode with the other driver and fled the scene.

This recent accident is especially alarming as cautious motorists were victims of a hit-and-run. It shows how one can never be fully protected from car collisions even if their kids are with them.

The family of the victim can file a wrongful death suit and be compensated for the damages on their part but it can never replace the lost life of a little girl.
