A 62-year-old attorney from Terra Linda who has handled personal injury and criminal defense for 33 years died after being surprised with a massive wave while he was abalone diving with his son near Horseshoe Cove.
His son Matthew tried to pull him to safety but was unable to do so.
Brian Dinday was later spotted by authorities floating with his face down.
