Legally Blonde Star Reese Witherspoon Suffer Face Cut in LA Crash

The Legally Blonde Babe Reese Witherspoon may not be flawless anymore with a recent cut on her forehead after a minor traffic accident in Los Angeles.

According to reports, the actress was jogging in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning when a vehicle hit her. The elderly driver was approaching the crosswalk and was traveling at 20 mph when the crash occurred. Witherspoon suffered a small cut on her forehead and was treated at a local hospital.

The critically-acclaimed actress was released at the hospital the same day and has been recuperating at home. Los Angeles police officers cited the 84-year-old motorist with a moving violation. Witherspoon has not pursued any legal action against the 84-year old motorist yet, reports said.

Reports said that Witherspoon is expected to recover from her minor injuries soon and pursue the filming of This Means War and Mud. The Hollywood icon is well known for her leading role in Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama. She received several numerous Best Actress awards for her performance in Walk the Line film in 2005.

Such a pretty face has been scarred for days, but is expected to resume former glow just in time for her upcoming film. Witherspoon’s fans are thankful that the injuries are minor.

Police officers will ask the 84-year-old driver to retake driving test to see whether eye difficulty has been a factor in the crash.
